Mark G. Rubin, M.D. is a Board Certified Dermatologist. His practice is limited exclusively to Cosmetic Dermatology. He maintains a private practice at the Lasky Skin Center in Beverly Hills, California, In addition, he is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the University of California, San Diego.
Dr. Rubin, a native of New Jersey, has been practicing Dermatology in Southern California since 1985. He is a specialist in skin rejuvenation and has written numerous papers, book chapters and a textbook on skin rejuvenation. He is an international lecturer and has presented his ideas and research to physicians in over 10 countries. Every year he is an invited professor to lecture at meetings of Dermatologists, Plastic Surgeons, Facial Plastic Surgeons and Aesthetic Medicine Specialists. In addition to his work with patients, Dr. Rubin is actively involved in clinical research projects. He has done research in the fields of wound healing, skin care products, chemical peeling, lasers and injectable dermal fillers. He is currently involved in serveral clinical trials, including those for the FDA.
Dr. Rubin also works as a consultant for various skin care, pharmaceutical and medical device companies. This combination of teaching, research and consulting keeps Dr. Rubin at the cutting edge of his speciality.
Nancy J. Samolitis M.D.
Dr. Nancy Samolitis is a Board Certified dermatologist with specialized training in cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Samolitis graduated Summa Cum Laude from University of Kentucky College of Medicine as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha national medical honor society. She completed her internship at Northwestern University and her dermatology residency in 2005 at the University of Utah.
Dr. Samolitis specializes in treatment of aging and sun-damaged skin on the face and body. She employs specialized techniques with injectables and lasers for rejuvenation of the full face as well as the aging neck, chest, and hands. She is also experienced in the treatment of leg veins with sclerotherapy. She actively participates as a research investigator on studies that involve the evaluation and development of cutting-edge products and devices.
Dr. Samolitis has lectured nationwide and has authored several peer-reviewed journal articles and textbook chapters. Amongst others, her work has been published in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and Archives of Dermatology. She has received a research grant award from the National Rosacea Society for the development of a project studying the effects of lasers and light therapy on rosacea. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery.
